In recent years, under the guidance of national policies, China has made remarkable achievements in environmental protection, especially in the field of air pollution prevention and control, and has made a series of remarkable achievements.

I. The system of laws and regulations has been continuously improved.

Since the State Council issued the Air Pollution Prevention Action Plan in 2013, local governments have introduced relevant supporting measures, forming a relatively complete legal system guarantee system. Nevertheless, we still need to be soberly aware of some problems we are currently facing:

First of all, the adjustment of industrial structure is a long and complicated process, which needs time to gradually optimize the energy consumption structure;

Secondly, the inter-regional cooperation mechanism is not perfect, and it is difficult to effectively solve the problem of air pollutant transport across administrative divisions;

Finally, some enterprises are lucky enough to try to evade regulatory responsibility, which leads to illegal sewage discharge from time to time.
