With the acceleration of industrialization and urbanization, environmental issues have increasingly become one of the key issues of global concern, among which air pollution is a key factor that directly threatens human health and quality of life. In recent years, under the guidance of national policies, China has made remarkable achievements in environmental protection, especially in the field of air pollution prevention and control, and has made a series of remarkable achievements.
I. The system of laws and regulations has been continuously improved.
Since the State Council issued the Air Pollution Prevention Action Plan in 2013, local governments have introduced relevant supporting measures, forming a relatively complete legal system guarantee system. At the same time, the amendment of the Environmental Protection Law of People's Republic of China (PRC) was formally implemented in 2015, which included "improving air quality" as an important task in the legal text, providing a strong support for pollution control according to law.
Second, continuous innovation and upgrading of technical means
Through the combination of introducing international advanced technology and independent research and development, China has made breakthrough progress in ultra-low emission transformation of coal-fired power plants and installation of vehicle exhaust purification devices. In addition, the concept of "internet plus" has also been widely used in the construction of environmental monitoring network, and the early warning ability and emergency response speed have been improved by using modern information technologies such as big data analysis.
Third, public participation continued to increase.
People from all walks of life are increasingly aware of ecological environmental protection, and more and more people are taking the initiative to participate in the blue sky defense war. For example, many cities have implemented green travel plans to encourage citizens to use public transport or ride bicycles instead of private cars; There are also volunteer organizations that regularly carry out afforestation activities to reduce PM2.5 concentration.
Nevertheless, we still need to be soberly aware of some problems we are currently facing:
First of all, the adjustment of industrial structure is a long and complicated process, which needs time to gradually optimize the energy consumption structure;
Secondly, the inter-regional cooperation mechanism is not perfect, and it is difficult to effectively solve the problem of air pollutant transport across administrative divisions;
Finally, some enterprises are lucky enough to try to evade regulatory responsibility, which leads to illegal sewage discharge from time to time.
In short, in the new era, we must unswervingly follow the green development path, continue to deepen the supply-side structural reform, strengthen the driving role of scientific and technological innovation, and mobilize all social forces to jointly safeguard our beautiful home-the blue sky of Mother Earth!
